Thinking about a job
change, or looking for a job in France?
In
today's world it
is important to understand that applying for a job is not just
"applying"
you must present yourself in the best possible light.
We
have spent 12 years
in Human Resources Management,
have
a very strong
recruitment bias and have worked with large and small companies, in
both
industry and commerce.
We
have studied and
practised employment search techniques.
We
are therefore in
a unique position to advise you on employment search.
FIRST & MOST IMPORTANT
PASS
THE "WASTE PAPER
BASKET" TEST : Yes it's true, that application you spent hours on might
just end up in the bin.
Your
job application
must pass the "waste bin test" before it is even read, if your
presentation
is not eye-catching it will not do so.
SECOND
: You have about
15 seconds to tempt the reader (not necessarily the recruiter) to
continue
looking at your presentation (otherwise it's waste bin time again)
therefore,
it must be clear, well structured and prompt curiosity.
THIRD
: There are other
stages in between, but you must convince the recruiter that you are
worth
the time that he or she will otherwise consider wasted.
